The state high-level committee on Saturday cleared several investment proposals worth Rs 9048.39 crore. The six projects which were cleared are expected to provide employment to about 35,487 people. Except for one proposal based in Belagavi, all others have been granted land in Bengaluru Urban and Rural areas. Among the proposals cleared was that of Oracle India Pvt Ltd (`2,438 crore) for 13 acres and 29 guntas of land in Kadubeesanahalli village, Outer Ring Road, Bangalore East Taluk. Bluestone Tech Park has been allotted 55 acres in Appajipura, Samethanahalli and Koraluru villages of Hoskote taluk to set up an integrated IT Park at a cost of `2,051.39 crore. Our project is 10 mins drive from this upcoming IT park.

Localities on this route benefit from affordable land rates and efficient connectivity to Whitefield as well as to the airport. The auto hubs at Narsapura and Vemgal, and the commercial development in the north, are set to strengthen demand for residential property options here. The planned infrastructure development adds value too. The Hoskote-Malur Road runs beyond the eastern periphery of Bengaluru. State Highway (SH) 95 connects Hoskote town to Malur, a 22-km route that is connected to the city via the Bengaluru-Tirupati highway National Highway (NH) 4. Efficient connectivity, an easy commute to the IT hubs of the city and the auto industry setup has spurred residential property growth in localities in this belt.

Infrastructure Development East Bangalore is now experiencing the transition in terms of infrastructural developments. There are improvement to the existing infrastructure. The work on Namma Metro is fast progressing and so are the road expansions.

Expanding Roadways Two critical roads to Whitefield i.e., the KR Puram-Graphite India stretch and the Jayadeva Institute-Central Silk Board stretch on the Outer Ring Road are widened for Namma Metro. The Old Airport Road is also under development since Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) are planning underpasses at HAL, ISRO and Kundanahalli gate junctions. The BBMP is simultaneously working on white-topping of 50 roads which includes stretches of Outer Ring Road in East Bangalore.

Namma Metro garnering steam The Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation (BMRCL) which looks at Namma Metro Phase II implementation has made significant start with road-widening & piling work on the stretch between Baiyappanahalli & Whitefield, ITD Cementation India. The BMRCL has claimed that they are acquiring around 78 acres of land on the 15.25-km Reach. 1 extension of which 45 acres of land belongs to the Forest Department. The BMRCL hopes to acquire and develop metro stations, depots and in the long run, utilize some of the land for commercial development as well.

An increase in the number of train services is a long-pending demand of Whitefield residents and tech workers. Given the demand, the Bangalore Metro Railway Corporation (BMRCL) too has started work on connecting Whitefield to Baiyappanahalli.

Indo Japanese Corridor

The Japanese Government is also proposing to introduce “Smart communities” along DMIC.
The area near Mulabagal, he said, can become a granite hub, Kolar, an engineering hub and the Hoskote area can be a mixed industrial area, adding that the corridor will help industries gain quicker access to the Chennai port.
Pointing out that the proposed corridor is still in the nascent stages with preparation of pre-feasibility studies in the process, he said the government will acquire more land once the correct route is established.
